  • Do I need an appointment for a pointe shoe fitting?
    Yes. All pointe shoe fittings, especially for first-time dancers, require an appointment to ensure adequate time and attention. Our trained fitters will work one-on-one to find the best fit for safety, comfort, and performance.
  • What should I bring to a pointe shoe fitting?
    Please come with toenails neatly trimmed and bring any toe pads, spacers, or accessories you typically use en pointe. If this is your first fitting, your dance teacher’s approval is recommended before scheduling.
  • Can I purchase shoes or dancewear without a fitting?
    Absolutely! Ballet, tap, jazz, and turn shoes—as well as dancewear—can be purchased anytime. Fittings are an optional, complimentary service we offer to ensure the best fit and support.
  • Do you offer group fittings or studio visits?
    Yes! We love working with studios and schools. Please contact us to schedule a group fitting session or inquire about on-site fitting opportunities. Email BarreandPointeBoutique@gmail.com.
  • Do you carry dancewear for boys?
    Yes! We offer a curated selection of dancewear designed specifically for boys, including basics and class-ready attire in comfortable, performance-friendly fabrics.
  • Do you carry sensory-friendly clothing?
    Yes. We understand the importance of comfort for all dancers, and we proudly carry sensory-friendly options for those with sensitivities to seams, tags, or certain fabrics.
  • Can I return or exchange items?
    Unworn items with tags and original packaging may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase. Pointe shoes and other worn footwear are not eligible for return. Please contact us with questions.
  • What do I do if I need a different size or color that I don't see in store or online?
    If you’re looking for a specific size, color, or style that’s not currently available in store or online, just let us know! We’re happy to place a special order for you whenever possible. Our team will work with our suppliers to find the item you need and provide an estimated delivery timeframe. We’re committed to helping every dancer find the perfect fit—just ask!
