Getting your first pair of pointe shoes is a major milestone in every dancer's journey—and we’re here to make the experience safe, supportive, and unforgettable. Our professional pointe shoe fittings are tailored specifically for first-time dancers, focusing on proper alignment, foot structure, and long-term foot health. During your appointment, our trained fitters will take time to assess the dancer’s feet, measure precisely, and guide them through trying on several styles and brands to ensure a secure, comfortable fit that supports both technique and injury prevention. Appointments are required for all first-time pointe shoe fittings and take place inside The Southern Lion at Carolina Place Mall unless otherwise noted. Please arrive with toenails neatly trimmed and tights on for this appointment. Let us help you take this exciting next step with confidence.
